The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
One thing helping keep my concerns in check is that a lot of programs in Hockey East seem to be off to slow starts. BU swept by MSU and smoked tonight by UConn, and tied this same Colgate team; Providence swept at home by UMich and losing to the Tommies currently; BC lost to Denver (again)...
I share the thoughts of others that Marques has been a disappointment. I would put Scott in the disappointment category too, I feel like he's barely done anything this year and he somehow missed the net on that tailor made pass that would have been the tying goal. I also thought Boija was...
Maine better come ready to play. I dont think 'Gate should be overlooked. I seem to recall them having played us tough even at Alfond recently. Should be two more good games.
Call me crazy, but I didn't think they were *that* bad in the second half-ish of the game tonight, spent way too much time in the box which limited the capacity to do much but they finally started to have decent possession and get chances in on net at 5v5. Still a rough game and a pretty bad...
Not a very good game. I think the jump up in the level of competition was evident. Tough to give up 2 EAGs but as others have said, perhaps growing pains with a young team.
In my opinion, a split is the most likely outcome, and would be satisfactory. A sweep would be above expectations and would be fantastic, and getting swept would be a disappointment. I agree that it will look much tougher than last weekend did and will be a good early test for the team to...
I agree on Motew, I thought he played well this weekend and he exceeded my expectations. I had him projected as a bench player in my original lineup forecast actually, but if he plays like that consistently he should be a lineup regular. Also, Nadeau looked excellent, like he will be a force...
I think they were good, not great, this weekend. The scores were obviously nice but that's an opponent you expect to handle and to their credit they did. I think there were still some growing pains that will get ironed out over the year. Already excited for next weekend against Q.
