The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It is a(nother) brutal indictment of the Souza era that in a year when UNH is hosting a regional and Hockey East has a rising tide type season conference wide bouying everyone's Pairwise UNH still can't find a way to win a few games with a seasoned roster to get their way in to the tourney.
My only criticism of Conmy over this stretch of tough competition is he is often trying to do it all his own during zone entries, often resulting in turnovers. Hard to blame him for that given his supporting cast though.
Otherwise he is one of only a couple skaters on the team with a Hockey...
If UNH were smart they would bring in Eric Lang for double his AIC salary tomorrow. For all the talk of funding, facilities, support etc. you just have to look at what he did (albeit in AH, I know) with a D3 budget. Need a head coach with a vision and passion.
There is nothing wrong with attending the games and supporting the institution and the players while expecting more from the administration. The coach, while he sucks, also deserves our support in much the same way the players do. He is an alum and I don't suspect is failing from lack of effort...
Was disappointed with Jensen's play on Friday night. Got beaten wide several times to allow good chances to BU, including either the first or second goal, I can't recall.
