The arena will host both the mens and women's basketball and hockey games. The exact dates will be released during the summer. That is fast work if you ask me.

No worries for the future. St. Thomas will be in the mix going forward. I already have a box there, and will look forward to entertaining some of you select few when the finals are held in St. Paul.
On the positive side, they have beaten Ohio State, and they can give Wisconsin a run for the money. If things shake out in Minnesota's favor they will finally beat Wisconsin in two weeks and then take out Ohio State for the title. How about that for a dream season?

Agreed. How will the coaching staff get this team ready for a 'mere' east coast team? In past years there was too much hubris that the mighty WCHA would sweep all before them. Hopefully there won't be a repeat of the first matchup with Clarkson, where the Gophers played from behind all game.
