The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Happy for Casey DeSmith, who has a chance to move ahead of Ty Conklin in NHL games played by the end of this season. CdS now at 193 games (2.79 gaa, 9.10 SV%); TC at 216 (2.69, 0.906). CdS played in 29 and 27 games each of the past two seasons. Anyone see this coming, as I did not?
I would say scoring only 4 goals in two games (not counting ENG) is plenty terrible, especially against one of worst cupcake teams in Div 1. Oops, if your team cannot beat the cupcakes, is YOUR team the cupcake?
Given that I only saw the Friday game, how would you compare with the Saturday...
What do you think UVM should have challenged about Philbrick’s goal?
Like my second guessing about Winters’ ENG, I think that Philbrick risked giving up a 2- or 3-odd-man rush back up ice by jumping so deep into the offensive zone. Great that both goals worked out for us, but both plays just...
Sure seems like I watched a different game than Ref as I thought the game was anything but boring, as it could have gone either way right up to the ENG by Winters with 31 seconds remaining.
The reason that I thought the Winters ENG was not smart was because if he had missed the net it would...
Need to clarify which Cats, presumably UNH Wildcats on this thread, although there have been times over the past few years when posters on our threads have been hoping that we lose, which they believe will lead to admin regime change. But if we have learned anything the past few years, it is...
Just got an email from the UNH AD to alums today, with some selected quotes below about two new initiatives: 1) Granite State Collective, and 2) On to Victory Fund.
“Together these initiatives establish a unified, forward-looking strategy to advance Wildcat student-athletes through both Name...
I do not think that Souza will be going anywhere if the Whitt is selling out games with the likes of Quinnipiac, no matter the team’s W-L-T record or lack of postseason presence.
I am amazed that UNH is hanging with the No. 6 team in Div 1. NESN team says the Whitt is a sell out tonight, so MS7 is earning his keep in that regard. I always like viewing the 5-minute vignette with Ralph Cox, which shown again during the second intermission.
Update edit: Sharks beat...
