    It isn't the Cayman government or its central bank. It's all Cayman-domiciled funds that hold US Treasury debt as part of their investment strategies. They are hedging and leveraging with it, not trying to build some sort of strategic reserve.

    This. Elissa is a transparently awful triangulator, but if 26% of the state population loses their health insurance over this (2.6M on the Medicaid rolls here), she should never get another vote from places like Detroit, Warren, Sagnasty, and Flint.

    Agreed, and this will get even worse if we lose Spirit to Chapter 7 as a ULCC check on the legacies. They control a large percentage of the other seats sold at legacies' fortress hubs, especially in the Northeast and Midwest.
