The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.

Gutsy win by the boys last night. Truthfully, I felt it was over after the shorthanded goal by CT in the second to make it 3-1. Nice to see Newcombe shine. My guess is MS7 will rotate the goalies during back-to-back moving forward. They cleaned up the penalties (comes from coaching) and continue...
You have a right to brag. UCONN is dam good this year, and UNH is a work in progress with a group of kids that are fun to root for! Muszelik was very good. We out shot them 17-4 in the second and several were one on ones in front and we only scored 1 goal. Pretty much a must win tomorrow and I...
I agree with Chuck on the split; however, CT should be top 4 in Hockey East this year (23 wins last year, Hockey East and Regional Finals with most key players back). Winning tonight would be a huge jolt for the boys for their trip to Toscano on Saturday. We need to slow down Muldowney.
Sorry to hear Scott. I see things a bit differently. I would like to see a little more in game adjustments for sure, however we have not had the easiest schedule and we were without, arguably, our 2 best players this weekend. FWIW this is a very young team, particularly on defense. Our offensive...
We are only graduating 6 players in the spring and 2 are Goalies. Kids that want to play right away may back out. Hard to fault the coaching staff. I think they are doing a good job this year. UNH has always played to create offense off of good defense. The Defense is still figuring things out...
This is a great take. Agree 100%. As the lines get sorted and the new boys adjust to NCAA hockey style we are going to have one hell of a team. Conmy just didn't fit here, whatever the reason doesn't much matter at this point.
First game I haven't attended in a bit (kids decided to go). Early season takeaways. 1. The games are more boring on ESPN + because the announcers don't add a lot of flavor. 2. We miss Lavins on that second line. 3. The boys are in every game so far except the Merrimack game. I actually thought...
Oh and Souza was super happy about the Winters goal. I have not seen that type of emotion from him with a player in a long time. We sit behind the UNH bench. I think he knows how well winters is creating a super bond with all team members with the influx of so many new players.
Great game last night. All 4 lines played well. Captain Winters put an exclamation point on the game with 1 minute to go. VT pulled goalie and they gained control in our end- with a free man on the wing with a rocket shot blocked by Winters. He could barely skate from the block. He proceeded to...
From the BC fan page (should I stay or should I go?):
Move Conmy to the fourth line. He is basically just here for the PP (a very good weapon on the PP). He has 2 points, both PPGs and he skates on a line with two supremely talented guys in Hagens and Teddy Stiga. This line generally doesn't do...
