Colgate 2026-27

Congrats to the team, indeed.
Reid Dyck (again) and Tobias Ohman deserve special credit tonight.
Penalty-taking was back under control.
SOG remain a challenge, but a win is a win.
Especially on a night when Clarkson went down to Niagara, and Cornell went down to Sacred Heart.
Post-game taps-n-prayers were even back.

A sense of some relief and it was obvious the kids were excited to get a monkey off their backs...please give me more 5'8" guys who can skate and have skills vis-a-vis 6'4" players who lack both and tend to commit unforced penalties...still need better defensive coverage but credit Dyck...he's been solid all year...

Been absent for quite awhile. Very surprised at the news of 'Gate's start to the season and losing record. Was expecting great things from this team. Maybe....hope upon hope....things will turn around vs. Princeton and also we get some Irish luck over T'giving. I'd like to be pleasantly surprised with this team putting together a run soon. We have to be more competitive entering into the ECAC part of the season, or we're doomed.

Our regular season unbeaten streak against Princeton is on the line this coming Friday. Sadly, lots of folks on the pick 'em thread are picking us to lose to the Tigers.
Have we fallen *this* low? Prove us wrong 'Gate.

Rainman, my annual reminder…

I will always pick Colgate’s opponent, and always Cornell, this season in the ECAC Pick ‘Em contest…
for my own mental wellbeing.

Colgate wins? I am ecstatic.
Colgate loses? Well, at least I gained one point.
Cornell loses? I am ecstatic.
