The States 2: States Rights for Me But Not for Thee

Crop art line was way too long by the time I made it to the Hort. Building, so I skipped my favorite part of the fair. They don’t manage that line at all, so you could be stuck there for the day.

That said, the Fine Arts building had some pieces up of the same feel. I enjoyed that.
 
Oh my God, Bill de Blasio was on CNBC defending Mamdani's start as Mayor.

Andrew Ross Sorkin of all people was trying to paint a new report of the Mayor's office use of social influencers to promote city services and programs as some terrible abuse of power the needs to be stopped.

De Blasio shut down Sorkin repeatedly by emphasizing how terrible government, and even his Mayor office, is at promoting city/government services. "Whats the difference if he pays for radio or TV ads, or pays influencers to get that same message out?"

Sorkin then pivots to paint Mamdani as bad for business in NYC, and De Blasio again shot down his attack by praising Mamdani for actually meeting and talking with business owners frequently, despite disagreements. De Blasio admitted he now wished he ran his office like Mamdani has.
