Anyone who buys that is part of the cult, and deserve to lose money. SX has failed so much with starship and are so delayed on the lunar lander that Blue Origins got a chance and will probably finish first, since SX is burning their lander budget on not knowing how to really develop starship.
Watch the video. If you have any exposure to the NASDAQ you are going to buy it whether you want to or not.Anyone who buys that is part of the cult, and deserve to lose money. These are the same people who continue to think T is a good investment, even though sales are totally tanking, and the cult leader claims "robots".
Dumbest business people of all time. And deserve to lose a shit ton of money. Just wish the cult leader would go down with them. But he will take a "loss" and not pay taxes. yay.
I've heard that people are predicting that it will "tank" the indexes, but we will see about that.Watch the video. If you have any exposure to the NASDAQ you are going to buy it whether you want to or not.
What the video doesn't mention is how other blue chip stocks are going to take a hit after IPO when the funds have to find the cash to buy SpaceX stock.
The people who have already bought in are going to make out like bandits. The rest of us will be left holding the largest bags in the history of capitalism.
To paraphrase Jeremy Irons in Margin Call "We'll be left holding the biggest bag of excrement in the history of capitalism."SpaceX IPO effect on the indices:

lmfaoIt was probably written about on here, but I read the other day some companies are cancelling their AI work because it's costing them more than human employees do.
Companies are even rehiring employees it already laid off because it is too expensive or because the AI can't replicate the work correctly. It was probably written about on here, but I read the other day some companies are cancelling their AI work because it's costing them more than human employees do.
Company my father in law works for was lucky. They had him fire nearly everyone beneath him, so he figured he was next. They’ve instead seen the writing on the wall and have increased his pay and are having him hire a team larger than he had before.Companies are even rehiring employees it already laid off because it is too expensive or because the AI can't replicate the work correctly.

Yeah, this has been a story for the last 18 months now. Company lays off half their senior devs/engineers and tells everyone else to use AI as a "force multiplier". AI flops because juniors are pumping AI crap into the codebase without considering the consequences of the design, so the company is forced to re-hire the seniors they fired for more money than they were paid before.Companies are even rehiring employees it already laid off because it is too expensive or because the AI can't replicate the work correctly.
