So anyone else feeling slightly better about the season now that Maine went 1-0-1 vs. the National Champs? That was quite a show in Vegas this weekend. Frozen 4 should be there every year.

I dont feel any better, winning games in January is great, but winning games in April when it counts is where its at. both teams had great freshman goalies, we had diddly squat. If boija gets his mojo back maybe we can make a run next year. Remember wisco was a 12 seed.

Not really..how many titles do we have and how many times have we been on the losing side? We can't even win a ncaa playoff game lately lol. A stark reminder our goaltending is not Hicks and we are not in Denvers ballpark..unless when they snooze through our game in January because they didnt give a fuk lol

Mike Hastings is 0 for 2 now against Carle in the championship game. Wisc will be a force for as long as he is there. Good chance they meet again for it, maybe multiple times. Two of the top tier, maybe current 2 best, college hockey coaches had their teams ready last night.
Denver is an absolute dynasty, success feeds success in this sport. They will be in the hunt next few years for sure.

I saw two minnesota guys collecting stripper cards Vegas has been fun, little to loud for an old guy like me but the visit has been fun.

The good news is goalies like Hicks are available. Heck, he was committed to Tennessee State until the program fell through!
That said, Boija is the only goalie currently on the roster. I need a portal addition.
