Wisconsin Hockey 25-26 Hastings Year 3 - Turning the Corner?

A few more thoughts:

Very happy for Hauser - he’s been under the gun for most of the season.

I heard that Schulz was back skating - I wonder if he will be healthy enough to play in Vegas? Knox and Phelan seem to have settled in and are playing better.

I don’t hate MSU like I do Michigan, OSU, PSU, and the Goofs - lots of respect for Nightingale and Sparty’s style of play.

I used to feel that way and then had a terrible experience with a group of MSU fans at the Wrigley game trying to start fights with everyone around them. We had two younger kids in our group and it was a bad look.

Congrats Bucky fans from a BU fan who was at the game. Gotta say, I didn’t think beating Trey Augustine 3 in a row was gonna happen. Great game. Good luck. See you in Vegas

I hope all the BADger fans who wrote them off in the slump feel pretty damn fucking stupid. Yes I wasn't happy either, but I never wrote them off.

Bring on the Sue.

I agree, MSU staff is too notch and they run a tight ship/prgm. Never really had any issues with their fans either that I can think of and spent many a time in East Lansing with Cardinal and White on.

That being said, it felt really good to get their goose this year with the amt of talent they had on that team.

Well, that 0-6 stretch was brutal. Casual fans will walk away. They were all out of sorts and were down to playing 5 D men with Horbach filling in to make 6. It was a true gauntlet looking back. Casual fans prob did leave lol

Apparently the strongest steel is forged in the fire of a dumpster during an 0-6 losing streak ;)

Still on cloud 9 over this.

It's been so long that I'm not sure how to handle it lol.

AND we play the Flickertails? Isn't that what we were calling them when they were nameless there for a couple seasons?

They'll always be the Sioux to me.

We're gonna be on a spring break trip during the games, but should be able to wedge the Thursday game into our plans. If they make the championship game, we'll be at a concert and just have to check updates or maybe have it on my phone if I can get it. That'd be pretty hilarious to be at a concert and watching or checking in on an NCAA title game.

We were in St. Lucia when the hoops team beat undefeated Kentucky and then lost to Duke (fuck Duke!) in the championship game, so this isn't uncharted territory I guess.

Definitely packing the Badger hockey Ts and maybe I'll even bring my jersey to wear to the concert if we make the title game.

Not to put the cart before the horse though. The Sioux will be a tough challenge, but if we play like we have these past two games (and the two at PSU), this team can beat anyone.

I just saw that Stramel was out due to breaking his ankle when he was hit by a shot from a teammate (Strbak) in the first period.

Nothing soothes a terrible stretch like a series against Notre Dame.

Oofff... I never root for injuries. I broke my ankle taking a shot once and it wasn't fun.

But then again... wouldn't have happened if he was still wearing a Badger jersey.

They kept mentioning what a loss he was while really not bothering to mention the two guys we have out and their value.
