Oswego State Lakers 2025-26...Let's Take it up a notch.....

per a palladium times article, "Gosek said that freshman Michael Manzi is slotted to start in goal for tonight’s game (buff state). Afterward, the staff will make the decision on the starter for Saturday... Every week there is healthy competition for the starting spot in net" It truly seems that the team is following bakdrafts logic of "start the goalie whos last name starts with an m"

my video was terrible last night, let's hope for a better one today....Looked like we took care of business, but I only watched sporadically ,as I was watching Penn State wrestling as well, we know the kid at 157lbs,he's a stud to say the least, looked like Manzi gave up a soft 2nd goal, or was screened, but he shut the door the rest of the way, yes LZ,we will have a netiminder who's name starts with a M tonight btw the pipes...Hobart took care of Freddy 7-0 yesterday, let's hope we can get out with a W...Let's Go Lakers!!!!!

Great weekend as they managed to pull through 2 trap games. Was the platty game pretty nope but they came back and won which is was great teams do. Puzzling decision by Gosek to start Manzi 2x in row, once again he fails to perform well in the big games ( although I think some of the opportunities were bad defense or an unlucky bounce). I think we're in the tandem goalie era now. Now to go to the platty facebook and read all those salty salty comments.

I would say that 2 of the goals were on the defense. 2nd goal he didn't see, goal 4 was a give away right in front of him. I do agree about a tandem goalie situation.

Also I know there's a really bad snow storm going on but maaaaan the ronnie b was half empty for that game. It was hard to tell if it was stress ball night or dress like a seat night

When was the last time that the women and men came from behind in Plattsburgh the same day to win at the Ronnie B?

This season feels like it’s building to something special….lot of hockey left, but I like what I see from Big Red’s ladies and Eddie’s boys…

Played very well vs Skidy fri night, lots of jump and hustle, then came out flat vs.Platty and almost paid for it, nice comeback win....Gonna need a fortune teller to know who will be btw the pipes the rest of the way....Very noticeable lack of butts in the seats at the Ronnie B,maybe hunkering down, pre-gaming and didnt make it out???..Ok onto next weekend ....Let's Go Lakers !!!!

No, the bad weather really doesn't hinder the fans. I grew up in the Plattsburgh area, and I have been to games with worse weather, and the crowds were still strong in numbers. It was the play of the team this year and a spanking from Hobart the night before didn't help.

we would go to Cortland, not a. bad ride and it was usually a blowout, back by 11pm and at The Shed by 11;30ish :p :p :p :p :p ,after a few, any soreness was gone....

What is up with the Lakers letting in goals in the first minute of the periods??? 3 in the last 6 periods. Does the puck dropping mean anything else than play hockey. Besides that i was surprised to see Manzi in goals. I thought coach would have started Milberg. Maybe Friday.

There are times I wonder if bakdraft actually graduated... :ROFLMAO::p
funny you should say that...long story short...we had a 6 keg party in the dorm, 6 man suite,, against the rules  ,campus police was coming up to bust us but we had a doorman posted so when they came up a few of my teammates ripped off the screen in the room and threw the 5 empty kegs out the 6th floor window,WOW what a racket they made landing on the concrete, the 6th keg was half full and not knowing this we almost lost a teammate as he almost went out the window with it....16 yrs later I need my diploma to get promoted to Lieutenant in the FDNY,checked the diploma case and there was nothing in it???Called the school and was told I owed 6 bucks for a screen then they would give me my diploma, again 16yrs later.......but YES Russ I did graduate and I did get promoted:p:p:p

Bak definitely took his daughter to raven or ferris after Cortland vball came up here.
My daughter has been going to Laker games her whole life, and has seen the inside of a few drinking establishments, not to mention some great after parties Whiteout weekend, she has made a home at The Dark Horse in Cortland, and I am sure many more....
