Well here's the deal...if you attended the event you would have seen I believe home town kid Ryan Philbrick's coach/ Bow HS coach (please correct if I'm wrong)
receive a UNH signed jersey which was cool... As far as this being a 'feather in MS7's cap' I really wouldn't go that far. Sure, like I said, it was at least for me,
nice to see him on the ice with the team but honestly, most of it was the team doing their drills, faced paced and you could really get a feel for their individual skill.
Sometimes that gets lost (for me haha) during a game. You are closer to the ice etc. Just a good way to view the team and they seemed to enjoy it.
So seems like a long way to get to an event like this which meant more to me as a season ticket holder than listening to what their favorite color is. (Which those events
are at least a way to spend time with them that we used to have during FOH events but I'll leave that right here). It's about the team and the players; who's on the ice blowing the whistle was not the main attraction but played a part. Oh, and I'd be remiss to leave out seeing Jim Torts (legend) out there as well. Dropped him a note thanking him for the event and hoped that it would (or something like it) continue.
