Absolutely no one can trust anything US law enforcement says or does at this point. With any luck, her copsucking acquaintances will find that out the hard way.
 
I have a cousin that’s a cop, and he’s really been struggling since 2020. He’s an incredibly nice guy and he’s been in therapy for years now. Not sure the exact reason he’s talking to someone, but I’m glad he is. Many won’t and we’ve seen the results.

Anyway, he’s retiring in a couple weeks which is the earliest he could and get a pension. He will instead be a CSO until he decides he doesn’t want that either. He’s pumped to not have overnights or carry a gun anymore.

Edit: This post wasn’t to try and make people feel bad for LEOs. Just figured I’d share that some of them hate it too. His line about becoming a community service officer was good. “I can’t wait to do what thought I was going to.”

Good luck to your cousin! I have an old friend (acquaintance at this point?) who had to quit the force after an event involving un-fired use of many pistols. He tried to carry on, but just couldn’t.
 
Apparently ICE goons in multi-car caravans are circling Spanish immersion preschools in the city taunting and photographing the parents and neighbors who are patrolling the school perimeter to keep kids safe.

I'm of the opinion that regardless of it being a provocation, anyone observing and protesting against ICE needs to be open carrying. Which is precisely why no one wants me to show up to these protests, and why I don't - because I'm not looking to be unalived by a trigger-happy fascist with zero training or range time.
