Wisconsin Recruiting V - Does it even matter?

Peapenburg was moved to the NAHL a few days ago. I’d be surprised if he ended up coming here. We will definitely need 1 or 2 defensemen from the portal or the CHL. Hauser and Tulk both committed to us right around this time last year. I’d love to see one CHL guy and one transfer.

With Orpana next year we will have a lot of centermen. Morrissey, Tulk, Zelenov, Deering, Orpana. Very strong up the middle
 
Jette with 9 points in his last 4 games. Uhlenkamp with 8 points in last 3 games. And Soloman continues to be top 5 in the league in points. Future looks nice

Do you think they are planning on having 4 goaltenders? Isnt there roster limitations that would really put some pressure on the forwards and D if someone got hurt? Just bodies availability wise?

Ive been unclear on if the 26 man roster is a hard cap right now. I think we have some players left (Palodichuk, Morrissey, and more) who shouldn’t count towards the 26 man limit? Idk though

There is a Grandfather Clause in which all players on last seasons roster do not count toward the limit for the rest of their eligibility. That seems crazy that you could add 26 players to everyone that is left from last season. Very confusing.

That makes sense. He certainly had some opportunities to get in the mix playing timewise but it just didn't work. I wish him the the best of luck in the future, whatever driver that might be.
