In 2006-07, the Gophers were swept in a series by MSU. That was Coach Halldorson's final season. Just saying.

My better half and I were both suffering some respiratory virus or whatever it was this week. Maybe the Gophs were dealing with something as well. If not, they sure managed a low-energy "effort". Didn't win a period all weekend.

I know that fans of other teams don't think a lot of 18, but I think she has made them somewhat credible the last three seasons. Kind of like unwanted MN HS product Bischoff supplied more offense than UM as a team this weekend.

I'm just saying the Snowman does not have a contract for 2026–27, and sure, you may not want to *fire* him necessarily, but I think there would be some backlash if they extended him at this point in time.

If this was college football, I'd agree, but it's not. He's got a lot of rope, they'd have to tank the rest of the way. It is fitting that Bischoff lights it up against him, those darn MN kids! Bring in more Canadians that will get us on the right track, lol.
 
A lot of rope was used up with what transpired over this weekend, It is interesting, as eastcoastgopher brought up, that this is the last year of Frost's contract and he has not been extended. Even he has to know there is not much of a safety net left for him.

With what’s going on in college football right now, it’s too tempting to take this a step further. Who are we thinking would be the top 3-5 names to watch if the Gopher job opens up?
