Wisconsin Recruiting V - Does it even matter?

The early signing period opens today. TDM thinks Solomon, Jette and Stout will be signing. Other possibilities if guys move up a year are Uhlenkamp, Zajic, Orpana. Solomon is projected to score 79 pts in the ushl this season and Jette 69. :cool:
 
Solomon and Jette sound legit - would love to see another D-man with some offensive upside in this class. I wonder if Knott is working any of the CHL guys - good results so far with the guys they brought in this year.
 
TDM article mentions 5 forwards and 1 defensemen who could sign. We have 5 forwards who are seniors and I’d imagine Finley going pro. So that’s 6. And maybe a forward or 2 transfers out. We have 2 defensemen who are Seniors and maybe Hensler goes pro. Or maybe 1 transfers.

So with TDM article I think we need to hit the CHL for an elite defensemen and maybe hit the transfer portal for a forward and a defensemen still.

Yeah the CHL guys are legit. They seem to be ahead of the ushl guys.

Next year they have 16 F and 6 D. I kind of wish they had a CHL guy or 2 in this class, they seem to be more immediate impact players. Only 6 D is concerning.

I messaged Todd on Twitter and he said at least one more D and when they took the extra Forward, it almost certainly means Finley is moving on.

I think it’s notable that Mason Peapenburg, an 06 D commit from Sioux City, didn’t sign. I’m guessing that means they will go an alternate arrival to round out the roster, whether that be Chl or portal
