ECAC Pick the Standings 2025-2026 *The Field House Model* Edition

Hey everyone, here's the contest for this coming season! Make sure to get your picks in!

Someone has to take down the Field House Model! I have faith in you!

Copy and paste the following list, keeping the teams in alphabetical order. Just change the number for each team with the place you think the will finish with:

1 - Brown
2 - Clarkson
3 - Colgate
4 - Cornell
5 - Dartmouth
6 - Harvard
7 - Princeton
8 - Quinnipiac
9 - RPI
10 - St. Lawrence
11 - Union
12 - Yale

Scoring is unchanged from prior years. In short, you will receive a score based on the square of the distance from your picks to the actual standings (e.g., if you pick a team in 4th but they finish in 7th, you get (7-4) Squared or 9 points). Sum those up for the twelve ECAC teams and you'll have a score between 0 and 572. The entrant with the lowest score will be our winner.
You have until the puck drops on Friday, 31st of October at 6:59 PM EDT to get your picks in.

Tie breakers are:
Pick correctly the ECACHL Regular Season Champ.
Have the most teams in the correct order of finish.
Have the most top 6 teams in the correct order of finish.
I will flip a coin.

PRIZE: Your name will be included in next year's Title of the competition as the defending champion

Example: ECAC Pick the Standings 2025-2026 *Ralph Baer* Edition

Who could resist this prize???

Didn't realize my model won the contest last year! Very cool. Wasn't very active here last year due to a bunch of work projects, but I'm back now. I'm planning on having my preview article with the model results up in the next 2 weeks. This year, I don't think I'm going to do my own predictions against the computer, I can't beat it haha!
