University of Maine 2024–2025: Freel-ing good

Humphrey's would be a good pickup, also Isaac Gordan from Michigan Tech would be a good option to consider as well I think. I read that apparently the judge in charge of the house settlement says that she won't approve the settlement unless changes are made to the roster caps. This means that there might be more roster space than the 26 that we thought there was going to be for next season or the house settlement might just be denied.

I think 28 would be great. But I’m sure there are other sports that are more of a concern that are driving this.

Isaac Gordon to NoDak. The portal closes in 14 days.

Now that all the skaters with a very high "CHIP" rating that have so far entered the portal are committed, i'm hoping Barr is able to find some "diamonds in the rough" like he has the past couple seasons or some unannounced CHL commitments.

Yes I believe there are 14 more days until entries to the portal closes, but I think players in the portal still can commit until the next semester begins?

I'm not sure if they can commit after the portal ends. It seems incredibly likely that Landon Sims commits to Maine once his season ends but I'm not sure about other CHL players. It seems like there's still at least 1 center that needs to come in for next year.

They can commit anytime until the start of the semester, although roster spots are starting to become limited.

Another million towards the Alfond renovations thanks to the Hunt family.

The hunt family entrance to either the alfond or the shawn walsh center. Life is getting complicated.

The support is awesome, from a prior player alum too.

$204 million in +$1 million donations to the athletic dept. since 2020…and that doesn’t even include smaller donations. Amazing.

A bit off-topic, but -as we are contractually obligated to despise BC- it was great fun to see baseball down them just now.

This team is hot. Another AE title seems likely.
I'm down in SEC country where every school has a great baseball team. I would love to brag to my coworkers about Maine making it further then their alma maters
