The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
could get interesting with Ivankovic out. At Minnesota this weekend. Normally fast and fun games, but this Minnesota team's record doesn't look like the Minnesota I'm used to. I'm hoping we come out with at least a split if Peck is in goal. He didn't look bad against ND or the U18 team, but...
Yeah. I found out the Michigan Marching Band was supposed to travel to Orlando that day on 2 different flights. The first flight made it to Florida, the second one not so much. Half the band got took busses back to Ann Arbor and didn't get to Orlando until the next day. They did at least...
I grew up in Maryland, where you had to go to a liquor store to get alcohol. It was weird when I moved here to find you could by hard liquor at Meijer.
The best was Carroll County (where i lived) had laws that bars could only serve until midnight, so many people then drive 15 minutes down the...
Firstly, that is not what expected Kepler to look like.
Secondly, when I checked the forecast this morning it predicted snow from 11-noon. Ok, I can deal with that. Commute will be unaffected. It has been snowing since about 10. I think, maybe I can go out at lunch, updated forecast says snow...
We watched Friday's game on tv. That was fun. Going into Saturday I felt calm knowing the team had a win and that I'd be happy with a split for the weekend. I would have preferred a sweep, but that's not what we got.
Now the long winter break begins. No Michigan hockey until 2026. :(
Good morning Lodge. Sounds like many of you had a good Thanksgiving. We spent it at my parent's house and they invited my MIL to join as well. Just a little group of 6. The parasite ate lots of turkey.
Thanks for your comment. Saturday was a solid effort and great play out of Harvard.
I wish I could have made it out to the games (sadly, parenthood has put a damper on my hockey road trips)
Fun hockey games at the Michigan of the East over the weekend. Now for Sparty. In East Lansing...
Good morning Lodge.
I enjoy typos that are other words so spell check doesn't catch them (when I am not the author). Our first draft of return to office policy was distributed to managers and part of the reasoning listed is it will allow us to 'make aster decisions' and 'to rive performance'...
Congrats on the win Saturday.
Clearly things got out of hand, and I don't condone my team's behavior. However, my view of Michigan's 2nd waived off goal was that Draper was cross-checked into the goal, which I think is what dad in the stands was reacting to.
My (obviously biased) view was...
we left after 2nd intermission. With all the reviews we were 2 hours in at the start of 2nd intermission.
I know that Michigan fans love to complain about officiating, so I will continue that.....omg was that officiating terrible. If you have a video to look at, why does it take that long...
oh no. wishing him the best as he recovers.
I had been enjoying the "Hughes from Mews" goal announcements. He had so much impact on this team already.
Wisconsin this week. They have improved from recent seasons. Should be another good test as to how good this Michigan team is.
Great game last night. Solid D, I enjoyed watching the team celebrate Ivankovic when they put up that it was the most saves so far for him. It's thrilling to have a solid goalie, that looks to have the potential to steal games, though if this offense keeps rolling, maybe he won't have to...
