The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
on top of what was described by others, Milewski seems to indicate he may or may not be back next year as he main turn pro. With 2 d graduating and only one recruit, they would need to portal transfer 2 people in if Hensler goes pro.
Outplayed Michigan all weekend. Friday was the most dominant game I saw this year. Saturday was more even, but they carried the play but couldn't score. And Michigan definitely could have gotten many more penalties, but at least the Badgers didn't fall for it and get involved. Can't decide...
I went in college so yeah, my first game was 93 at the coliseum. I was hooked. Student section was awesome then. And yeah, I am old, but not as old as Tim or SRK apparently.
Yeah, I didn't find it all that interesting. Hastings really never goes off the cuff. You don't get much out of him at any pressers. I am curious what you found interesting or anything of substance that came out of that.

Hauser likely out this week (still day to day), but positive is he said there is no structural damage. Also sounds like he dinged it up on in Michigan in November. So it's been months.
I think Hauser reinjuring his repaired shoulder (if that is what happened) is very concerning. Shoulders never are the same after surgery. Getting Pulver back to his pre-college level would be a start. He's in a major funk and confidence appears to be low.
We certainly know Ped State had $700k to give to McKenna, so they likely had 6 figures total. If we had a quarter or half that to give to recruits that would help. I am sure they got close to zero. BB gets a little and the vast majority goes to football. Gard has figured it out because they...
I am going to question like I have the last two years - 3 seasons, 3 second half swoons.
Does he work them so hard during the week, they have no energy in the second and third period on the weekend?
Is the strength and conditioning guy doing a good job to keep them fresh in the third...
You tell us what's going on:
Current season save % .885 57 of 63 teams
Last year: .888 T-54 of 64 teams
Year 1 of Hastings: .928 1 of 64 (using mostly Granato's recruits - McClellan was fantastic).
Hard to believe it's been 20 years since national championship. 16 years since they made the frozen four and 2 NCAA tournaments made in the last 12 years. Record over those 12 years: 174 - 217 - 34. 42 games under .500! Poverty program apparently. It's a disgrace.
Hauser out hurt after OSU guy falls on him. Per radio, he reinjured his shoulder earlier in 2026 (injury from last year). I’m sure wondering if that’s why he has been slower and tentative in the second half. Castro didn’t dress but is now on the bench as the backup
