The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Merrimack just did receive a commitment, but not from an '09, rather, a former Tennessee State recruit who apparently will be coming in this fall

The UML vs Bentley exhibition on Dec 28 is on the UMass Lowell tab, but not the Bentley tab. It’s also on the official UML website but not the Bentley website, so I’m not 100% sure what the deal is there
Yes, I am glad they added the DSA rules to the settlement, but it seems like it was too little, too late for a lot of athletes. I know quite a few that transferred already before the DSA proposition was made/approved. And future years' recruiting classes will suffer, too, since they won't be...
I would agree it is good news for hockey. Unfortunately, for some other teams, such as Track and Field (who will have to trim their roster size significantly to remain under the settlement limits, and who will also probably not receive a cent in the revenue share) they probably would disagree

Seems like any schools that have a road game against NEU slated for the second semester might need to reschedule?
According to the writeup, the Lowell schedule is wrong, and it is on Feb 6.

Lowell is out. There is a conflict between one of their games with Amherst. Lowell has a game down for Jan 6, Amherst has it as Feb 6.
Someone who is a part of the UML "Blue Crew" (the club that runs the student fan section) says it's unlikely the school is opting in for the roster limits, after all. This would seem to back up that claim; I can't see us using 10/26 spots on defense.
