So, WRPI is broadcasting the Liberty League basketball championship game on Sunday?

    Dartmouth @ RPI, Friday, 2/20/26

Is it supposed to snow enough that Dartmouth and Harvard won't be able to make it to the Capital District?

For which team did James Guo score?

    RPI at St. Lawrence, 2/7/26

Engineers have a chance to sweep the North Country trip for the first time since 2020.

    RPI at Clarkson, 2/6/26

Feels like RPI's been trying to sit on this lead for a long time.

    RPI at Clarkson, 2/6/26

It has not been a good year for RPI at all, but Clarkson isn't having all that great of a year, either. RPI did beat Clarkson earlier this year and has won in their last two trips to Cheel. Perhaps they can pull another surprise on the Knights.

    RPI @ Quinnipiac, Saturday, 1/10/26

Was there some question about whether the last goal was valid? First LiveStats showed 17 seconds left in overtime and the score was 4-3, Quinnipiac. Then LiveStats showed 15 seconds left in overtime and the score was 3-3. Then it went back to saying 17 seconds left, with the score 4-3, and...

    RPI @ Princeton

St. Lawrence lost to Yale, 8-1, so it looks like RPI will still have only the second worst record in the ECAC. It's kind of hard to find something to be optimistic about with this team, but I'm trying.

RPI at UVM 1/3/26 - Somebody has to start the new year right

An empty-netter, and then another one. The deal is pretty well sealed.

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Our guys are actually going to play a game this Saturday. They'll be visiting Vermont at 6 PM. UVM's 5-11, They have been particularly bad at home, where they are only 1-5. The Catamounts scored no more than two goals in any of their first 13 games, though they did score 3 in a 3-2 win at BU...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

With the hockey team on break, perhaps this is a good time for me to ask this. For one reason or another, I wasn't able to watch RPI-TV's streams of any home football games this fall. I did, however, watch Union's stream of the Dutchman's Shoes game and St. John Fisher's stream of the Clayton...

    RPI at Niagara Friday 11/28

The statistics look a little odd, Niagara dominated in winning faceoffs, 39-18, yet RPI dominated in shots on goal, 37-20. The statistic with 4 goals for and only 1 goal against looks pretty good, though. :)

    RPI at Niagara Friday 11/28

RPI has never won a game at Niagara. Now let's see if that little bit of sportscaster's jinx can work to the Engineers' advantage.

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Going 8-3 in a season with seven road games qualifies as a very good season in my book, too. RPI had their trouble in road games at schools whose names begin with U. But they did just fine in road games at schools named for saints. :)
