The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It has not been a good year for RPI at all, but Clarkson isn't having all that great of a year, either.
RPI did beat Clarkson earlier this year and has won in their last two trips to Cheel. Perhaps they can pull another surprise on the Knights.
Was there some question about whether the last goal was valid?
First LiveStats showed 17 seconds left in overtime and the score was 4-3, Quinnipiac.
Then LiveStats showed 15 seconds left in overtime and the score was 3-3.
Then it went back to saying 17 seconds left, with the score 4-3, and...
St. Lawrence lost to Yale, 8-1, so it looks like RPI will still have only the second worst record in the ECAC.

UVM's 5-11, They have been particularly bad at home, where they are only 1-5. The Catamounts scored no more than two goals in any of their first 13 games, though they did score 3 in a 3-2 win at BU...
With the hockey team on break, perhaps this is a good time for me to ask this.
For one reason or another, I wasn't able to watch RPI-TV's streams of any home football games this fall. I did, however, watch Union's stream of the Dutchman's Shoes game and St. John Fisher's stream of the Clayton...
The statistics look a little odd, Niagara dominated in winning faceoffs, 39-18, yet RPI dominated in shots on goal, 37-20.
The statistic with 4 goals for and only 1 goal against looks pretty good, though. :)
Going 8-3 in a season with seven road games qualifies as a very good season in my book, too.
RPI had their trouble in road games at schools whose names begin with U. But they did just fine in road games at schools named for saints. :)
