The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I don’t think this needs to be mentioned here since the diehards live here, but I will anyway. The USCHO voters are becoming a joke with the NESCAC stuff. How Amherst and Middlebury are ahead of Hamline and Augsburg is gross.
Hamline beat the absolute piss out of Endicott in their own rink...
I do agree with almost all of this. Where I would push back is that I really don't think the MIAC is all that more competitive than it has been. There hasn't been any easy game in the past few seasons either.
I think it's more of an indictment on the sheer amount of talent and skill that...
Well forget that notion. River Falls pummeling GAC through 2 periods. Also, this Falcon team looks very choppy from what I've seen compared to the last two years. Hard to say that while up that big, but they do look sloppy. Gustavus' talent level has fallen off a cliff. They do not belong...
The game means not nearly as much as it has the last 6-7 seasons, but River Falls-Gustavus is a big one this weekend. GAC isn't good, but they can beat good teams for sure. We'll see if they show up Saturday.
What's ridiculous is that in the Pairwise/NPI era (2018-19 to present), the NESCAC has a combined record of 4-11-2 (.294) against the West, and a record of 290-72-23 (.783) against all other East conferences.
I can definitely see why the West is so frustrated with the lack of bids they've...
Very early, but gotta love some bracket talk! The D3HN guys posted their first bracketology post of the year. I really enjoyed reading these last season- very knowledgeable and it's cool to see who teams should be rooting for/against
Watched a ton of hockey last night: here are some thoughts:
-Middlebury continues to be the most clutch team in the country, overcoming a sluggish performance to defeat Hamilton with 2 seconds remaining
-Stott remains the best goalie out there as well, but Williams earns a hard-fought tie with...
After watching that one, O’Kane is LEGIT. She is insanely improved from last season. I thought she was a bit of an Achilles heel on last seasons team, but she made some ridiculous saves last night
In term of contenders, Eau Claire, Oswego and Gustavus may badly need goaltenders.
Through 2 games, Gustavus did NOT fix that goalie problem from last year.
Heard there was a big incident at Adrian and the captain Johnson, (leading scorer last year) and the goaltender have stepped away. Multiple upperclassmen are also maybe thinking portal for 2nd semester
Chad Davis taketh and he giveth away
This is honestly great for the women’s game. Really good analysis and it felt like they could’ve done even more had they wanted to. They had lots to discuss.
