    Hoping I didn't overstep on the Grinding Gears thread by suggesting the counseling center. I was an honor roll/AP student too, but recently hit a huge roadblock like the one you described, and I finally dragged myself to the counseling center to see what it was all about. Surprisingly, they know their stuff, and are good at helping you sort out your options. Being a pilot sounds awesome (I want to get a pilot's license someday) and I know there are lots of routes you can take to get there. Good luck!

    I used to work for Air Whisky when they first opened at PWM in 2004. I also worked for Independence Air until they went under. I was just in there today doing my SIDA/Driving test. My name is Sean Kelly, I'll be there Sat-Tues until 5pm til 2am. Stop by and say hi if you have the time.
