Grew up in Durham watching UNH hockey; dug hockey pucks out of melting snowbanks in spring surrounding old outdoor Batchelder Rink and sold back to Athletic Dept for $1 each (friend held onto his and is now selling on EBay for $100 each); began following Bentley hockey team in late 1980s because of related interests.
