  • Tell your friend too look out for a tall young woman ( 6 feet ) by the name of Cassandra. She is from Ontario and a pre-med graduate of UWO (Western, London Ontario). She started her classes last Monday as well. She is at the main UBC campus in Vancouver. She loves it sofar.
Hi RStarr. Thanks for the note. Is your friend starting Med School at UBC ?. If that is the case, give me your friend's name or send me an E-mail via USCHO and maybe we can get the two of them connected. I just got back from Vancouver to help our D get settled. It's a beautiful city. Meanwhile we got a new coach at Brown. Been a long summer of waiting. We should try and meet when we play Yale....OnMAA.
Hi RStarr, She made it. Our oldest got into Med School at UBC as an out of province student. A great accomplishment for a 21 year old and both parents are extremely proud of her. You were right that the wait was excruciating, and the process long and arduous. How are you finding things at Yale. ?.OnMAA
Did you go to the Yale-Clarkson game? Wish I had thought about it…we could have met. On a side note…had to respond to your post re:the game…coaches think you are me, from last year's goalie rotation post….
    Hi RStarr,

She got past round one at UBC. Invited to the Interview process. As an out of province applicant, she is still a long shot at UBC.
    Hi RSTarr,

Our oldest D did her MCAT (twice) this summer. Did OK on the first one, aced the second one, so good to go for any school. She got all her applications in already into six great schools, all up here in Canuck land (McGill, UBC, UofT, Queens, Western and Ottawa) . She is now in wait mode and focusing on her fourth year Thesis. It would be good if you and her connect. In the mean time expect you to watch our other D when she comes to play against Yale in New Haven and/or Quinnipiac in New Hamden.

    OnMAA.
Okay, so..... I think I get this....it's sort of like a Private Message except.....

My Friends can see it, and your friends can see it, but everyone who is neither my Friend nor your Friend can't see it?
    Hi RStarr,

Testing the new message system. Already conversing with several others. Give it a try.....Great new toy on USCHO.

Would love for us to meet when Brown plays Yale, however it is mid-week this year ( ) so won't be able to make it to those games. Will be at the scrimmage in Princeton tomorrow.
