The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Dartmouth was dominated the majority of the game and looked very disorganized much of the time. Wisconsin did a good job outmuscling and outskating them and the one goal against was off a neutral zone transition rather than sustained offensive pressure. As I said in my previous post, Dartmouth...
Dartmouth is not a fast skating team but they're great at counterattacking from the neutral zone and have some guys that are scary good at finishing scoring opportunities. Their D, particularly CJ Foley (undrafted but likely to leave after this year), can also create quality offensive...
In the current climate, I could only ever see this happening if Penn were to elevate hockey to D1. They already have the building (though it would need a few renovations to get to D1 standards and they'd have to kick out a lot of the club and youth hockey programming currently there) but no big...
To be fair, Yale wasn't allowing fans that season either, but I'd say RPI is headed in a better direction given the coaching and AD situations are very different at each institution

Speaking of other rinks...
Major is fantastic but he's not drafted as of now. His uncle played at Cornell in the 80's and he has a younger brother getting to campus in a year or two along with a sister who may go D1. Funny enough, though, the two players that received major penalties this past weekend are draftees. I'm...
I won't be as nice as Kepler. If it weren't for the legitimate Cornell penalties and poor officiating, that game wouldn't have been close. Both nights, there were quite a few Colgate players trying to instigate retaliations and even when it worked on Saturday, the game was still within one goal...
That's going to be the toughest team BU faces and they'd better win the championship now. In my ~15 years of watching Cornell, I've never seen a more inspired team. Proud of what they did the past month
I keep seeing posts like this and it's clear that the posters don't live in Pennsylvania or haven't spent time in the state. Basically, Penn State would be at an advantage at any major city in the state regardless of the location because of the huge alumni base throughout PA. It's the flagship...
