The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The CHN site doesn't indicate anything other than NU has a home game. But assuming the NCAA/HE allows BC is to be the visitor at Conte, they would have to allow the same for UConn down there. I didn't bother to see what other rinks are open near Boston on Nov 13th...
NU appears to have 3 "home games". Two against BC, at least one of which appears to be at Conte. The other is against UConn, at "your guess is as good as mine".
Wondering why not all road games, unless BC and UConn said they don't want give up the 1.2 multiplier for a road win (which i'm sure...
Army schedule is out, and NU is not on there. So that leaves Yale.........(unless somehow the Keefe/Hastings connection has them playing a game against Wisconsin).
JMHO, but i won't be surprised if they just play all on the road the next two years. It would make sense as an option to scheduling "home" games.
1. Eliminates scheduling headaches completely for NU and multiple other local schools.
2. Gives the opponents an additional home game (or two, in...
Very sad to hear this news. Donato was always a class act, and as an NU follower, will miss seeing him behind the bench at the Beanpot. The end of an era in Harvard hockey. Wishing you guys lot of success in the coaching search, and lots of fond memories of Teddy's contribution to Harvard hockey.
Wishing you guys lots of success in the tournament!.......Loved every second of MC second half charge, and will be stoked to see them ending NoDaks season. Congrats again on the HE championship!
If i remember correctly, both UMass and NU had games scheduled with AIC. So playing each other OOC was the simplest solution when AIC canceled the season.
i had to double check on the stats, b/c i couldn't believe they did that without Dylan and "Machoo". Interesting to see what the result is whenever the rest of the offense comes back.
Any word on Lemay? Nice young man, i got to chat with him on a couple of occasions. Hope he can get back to...
In the "not that it matters too much" category.............Thinking out loud, but if NU somehow manages to finish 7th (and has to host a playoff game against whomever), where will the "home game" be? I can't imagine they would play at the lower seeds site, but maybe no other option. Thoughts?
Agreeing with everything you have said above. However, was wondering if the hit to recruiting is mostly complete? Thinking we won't get that last minute portal transfer to come in, but i'm guessing the kids who have already committed for 26/27 and 27/28 already knew the situation before...
Ditto. Normally i find myself muttering about the biased officiating after any game against the Comm Ave schools, but despite the loss, had absolutely no issue with officiating. Yes, maybe there should have been something called on Eiserman crashing into Zacher that way, but they let the players...
