The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Not an insider - but feel it’s more likely than not. With his college stats though wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a bit of D1 interest. He’s a Mass native at a school in Worcester, so maybe there’s some AHA/ECAC interest (would be an easy pick up for crosstown Holy Cross or nearby independent...
The national champions have been crowned and the D3 portal has started to grow with the offseason here.
Stories to watch so far:
- Mercyhurst's men's program closing adds 20-25 players to the portal and leaves a handful of prospects with an uncertain path forward -- where do Mercyhurt's...
Tough ending for Dartmouth at the hands of the Big10. Besides the disparity between offenses, they did a decent job at holding on defensively until the 3rd. The range of competition in the ECAC and light OOC schedule did little to hold up against a school like Wisconsin that runs the gauntlet...
Was looking back through at some of the discussion earlier this season with the news about Mercyhurst, and was reminded that AIC still exists.
Seems like there are some signs of life ahead with AIC’s return to D2 hockey. Will not be near the same especially with their surprise success in the...
Said it in the D1 thread, but that’s a massive disappointment for the players especially with how tough the recruiting environment is. Wonder how many will make the jump to D3 if they’re committed to playing out their college career. Know there’s a lot of talk about how NAHL/USHL players might...
Disappointing to see another program disappear, especially before the tourney is even finished. Going to be a rough time for anyone trying to transfer in this environment. At the very least it sounds like scholarships are being honored but still not enough esp with how donors were misled.
From this season alone, the LEC has a bright future ahead. Joining up with the old guard in the top-2, contenders like Plymouth and UMB, along with other long time programs like USM and NEC hopefully should get some great opportunities. Conference is tough enough that anyone that qualifies for...
Know Fallon had an incredible season leading Babson (with still another year to play), but surprised Tyler Stewart from UMD didn't get it with his stats. On a struggling UMD team he still managed a 21G-24A-45P season with 1.8 pts per game. Probably came down to Fallon's +21 on the ice, but still...
LEC's first postseason honors are official:
POTY: Jimmy Fallon - Babson
GOTY: Sami Moly - Norwich
ROTY: Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu - Plymouth
COTY: Jamie Rice - Babson
First Team All-LEC:
- Jimmy Fallon Jr. Forward - Babson
- Tyler Stewart Sr. Forward - UMass Dartmouth
- Will Redick...

6:00 Neumann at Hamilton
7:00 Norwich at Salve Regina
7:00 Williams at Utica
8:00 Univ of New England at St. Norbert
8:00 Saint John's at Aurora
8:00 Anna Maria at UW-Stout
I should've up the sarcasm from "incredibly well rested" to the 'most rested team in hockey.'
Besides their NPI rank, I don't see Salve having much of an advantage at all on Norwich. Two games in February... one against the bottom of the LEC the other against DII "powerhouse" Franklin Pierce...
