RPI 2026 Off-Season: Please Pardon Our Appearance As We Upgrade This Area

The more mayors the merrier, right?

Yep, that Guelph exhibition is also on the agenda potentially. Not expecting difficulty finding tickets...

    2026-2027 Schedules

Would certainly like to agree with you both - though conscious that Middlebury still got thumped 7-0 by Hobart this year. Will be interesting (and hopefully exciting) to see how this crop of freshmen develop in year-two. Lots of potential and also potentially a sting after the NESCAC...

    2026-2027 Schedules

My parents live about 40 minutes from Geneva and I went to the 8-1 drubbing a few years ago while in the States for Christmas. That might've been the coldest I've been at a hockey game, and I went to Middlebury's Duke Nelson Arena as a student. We'll see if I make it to this one or not...

RPI 2026 Off-Season: Please Pardon Our Appearance As We Upgrade This Area

Some interesting scheduling quirks in there. Quinnipiac and Princeton away then home with just a weekend in between is strange. Also six of final eight games on the road. Won't have the luxury of a slow start because that's a tough finish. Gotta play 'em all and win as many as you can!

    NESCAC 2025-2026: Don't Call it a Comeback

ICYMI - DIII Hockey News has done a podcast with Middlebury head coach Jack Ceglarski, talking about his experience as a coach, the NESCAC proposition to potential players, and some stories from his playing and early coaching days. Available here: https://diiihockeynews.com/podcast/ Nice...

Future D3 (and D2) hockey programs

And plenty of others it gives the same D rating to, including Elmira, Alvernia, Augsburg, Aurora, Manhattanville, Utica. Full list is here, for those interested: https://www.forbes.com/lists/college-financial-grades/ It doesn't include public colleges. Beyond just hockey, the demographics...

    Hamilton College

Many congrats to Hamilton. The class of the NESCAC all year, recovered nicely from that late-on little stumble, the only ones to take down Hobart. And on behalf of the Middlebury fans, thanks for ensuring the five-in-a-row NCAA title streak is not at risk for at least a half-decade again!

    NESCAC 2025-2026: Don't Call it a Comeback

"Don't call it a comeback, I been here for years." Well done to Hamilton for its first NCAA title, congrats to the NESCAC on its 10th NCAA title. Haters gonna hate...

    NESCAC 2025-2026: Don't Call it a Comeback

A frustrating end to the season for Middlebury, who fall 4-2 to Williams in the NESCAC championship. So close to an NCAA berth that would've been the next step in the return to being nationally prominent. Like in mid-February at Middlebury, the Ephs played big, got under the Panthers' skin...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Thanks for sharing these, good to see them. So if I'm seeing them right, the first step (1A - 1B - 1C) is a major addition to the north side of the field house, with ground floor (event level) locker rooms, strength/training room, retail, etc., a new mezzanine level with offices and other...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

This was always going to be a tough season - and it has been. But we're also seeing the green shoots of what Eric Lang wants to do, with a hard-working team that fights for every puck, is opportunistic, plays smart hockey with few penalties. It's a long road back to competing to win an ECAC...

    NESCAC 2025-2026: Don't Call it a Comeback

A real missed opportunity for Middlebury. In control, withstanding some cheap shots and silliness from Williams, and then it all falls apart. Frustrating as it puts Tufts fully back into the race for third place, and a bad weekend against Amherst and Hamilton and a good weekend for Wesleyan...
