  • Answer to your question in the post -- they are all sick or injured. The blueliners "might" be back in time for BU.
Thanks Matt. Thought the Big Red had Minnesota on their heels for much of the game after the first. It was scary as a Gopher fan, I thought Cornell would tie it for sure with all the time they spent in the O zone. Really hoping to prevent Wisconsin from winning again. Great season your team had and we both know they'll be in the NCAA dance frequently going forward. That incredible senior class really established a tradition that will stick for Cornell. I have no doubt. Nothing like a winning tradition to keep the blue chippers coming to the program.
Sorry, I just saw this message because I don't get these on my ipad. There is a goalie from Nova Scotia, Steffanie Moak. Also, I think there is one more fwd who was on Canadian u18 this year. Cornell clinched Ivy League today and have a big game on Tuesday. I hope they can pull it off because otherwise I suspect we would switch positions in the standings with Mercyhurst, leaving us dangerously close to not hosting in the NCAA quarters....with Harvard right on our heels and I am sure will give a touch challenge in ECACs.
Matt, if you like, you can email me directly at stciampasr@comcast.net. I carry a blackberry, so I'll be sure to see your note whenever it's sent. I'll be happy to forward my cell number via that email as well. Looking forward to seeing you, and hoping for a couple of competitive contests this weekend.
I'll be flying into Buffalo and driving down like I usually do. This trip, I'll be in Erie before 3. If you'll be there early enough before the game then perhaps we can meet for a cold one somewhere. Just a thought. Let me know later in the week when your plans are finalized. It'd be great to meet a former CHA Pick'em rival. :)
MattJ, will you be in Erie next weekend? I'd love to say hi in person if you're out there. Friday night I'll be easy to spot....black cowboy hat and python cowboy boots....don't be a stranger, come say hello!
Heard of one verbal commit the other day. Not sure if it was 100% reliable. Well ahead of Brown. Latest I heard is that we don't have any assistents yet, so not sure how much recruiting has been done todate. It is a long and somewhat painful off-season in that regard.
Matt......That TC hockey invite list is pretty much contains 6 D and 11 F still U22 eligible. Just saying, other than Goalers, pretty much the U22 squad. Lots of Big Red again.
Hey Matt, thought Cornell was an excellent, excellent team when I saw them in the FF at Ridder last March. Wondering if you think they're a better team this season? I'm both expecting, and hoping for a Cornell / Wisconsin final. I could be wrong about that but that's how I'd bet it turns out if I was wagering. I tend to think Cornell is pretty capable of beating UW...the most capable of the teams still playing. Probably the biggest threat to UW in all D-I...and a strong threat at that. To me, that final would seem like a toss up and tough to call. That's why I hope they play in the final. Think it'd be a great game.

Thanks for tonights game report. If Cornell is in the Final, might venture down to the game.
    Hi Matt,

Matt, how am I supposed to catch up with you in the CHA standings if you pick exactly the same as me?

    (12/10-12/11)

Not to look past our games in between, but I am very much looking forward to the next battle with Cornell. Good luck between now and then!
I agree, I think it will work to the conservative advantage to still have old Harry up there in the senate with all of his minions. At least perhaps the bleeding of our great country can stop and maybe start backing that proverbial car out of the ditch and on the right tract. I love how the libs leave out that minor detail that they were driving the fricken car the last two years of the Bush admin.
    Hi Matt,

I've been raving to you about Campbell, and a fabulous pick-up she was for Cornell. Hope you got to see her play. Tonight

    Hi Matt,

Testing the message system. I have little to report on Cornell recruits. As a competitor (Brown) get less info this year. Did see Edith at a tournament a couple of weeks ago. Will be at Princeton this Saturday to watch the first Brown action of the year.
