The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I would love to see a time history of the margin between AES and Stevens. Based on my sporadic sampling, it seemed like the margin stayed between about 15k and 30k votes the entire time, from 3% reporting all the way to 99%.
Next couple hours are critical - 3.4% behind with 29% to go means she’ll have to take almost 60% of the remaining vote to catch up. Possibly doable, especially with a bunch of Wayne County remaining, but she’s going to start feeling the squeeze soon.
When I lived in Vermont (back in the '90s), there was a story about a man who was suing because he felt that a judge's order to re-locate to within walking distance of a liquor store constituted "cruel and unusual punishment." This was part of the sentence handed down for the man's ~35th DUI...

Never mind that he shoiuld have known that the left would be horrified and the right would call for blood when it turns out not to be true.....

Paramount's 2025 year end balance sheet showed 30,455,000,000 in liabilities.. Even the long term debt portion is 11 figures, at $14.3B. Guessing this deal does not retire all but the last 999M of debt.
What do you mean by "winning?" If the SEC wants to leave, they will leave, period, and there's nothing the NCAA can do to stop it. The NCAA can, however, prevent its member schools (the ones who stay) from playing the SEC. If that happens. then the SEC can only play with itself, and their...
You joke, but there will be a noticeable, unpleasant (to them) change when their average record goes from .600 to .500.
(Assuming here that the NCAA would not allow teams that remain in the NCAA to go to the SEC for the traditional cannon fodder games)
Prompted me to take a look back at 2004:
The 2004 Florida Strikes
Florida bore the brunt of the 2004 season, enduring sequential landfalls that crippled communities and prompted the state to be temporarily dubbed the "Plywood State".
Hurricane Charley (August 13): A sudden, rapidly...
Oh, whew. His names are Batarti and Bhakti, so this is easily blamable on radicalized communist dark-skinned terrorists with foreign names.
Apparently they're blaming it on a "mental health espisode." Pretty sure MAGA qualifies as a "mental health episode" at this point....
