    Geez, I hope this is wrong. I would have guessed 3 defensemen (Conn/ Hahn/ Player) and 2 forwards (Siedem/ Walsh) if solely based on opportunities. That would make the departure total= 11 (graduates Cronin/ Skrastins/ Leclerc/ Winters (+2 portal) and 3 defensemen (portal) plus the 2 graduating...

    Too bad with Player. I liked his game, but he was obviously battling for time on ice despite playing in most games. Lost end of season ice time to Conn. Not a huge impact on the team with VonRichter and Kennedy coming in.

    Fair enough. I had the privilege of attending the Maine scrimmage at the beginning of the year at Bowdoin college and Oliver scored a laser on what I believe was his first shot on net for UNH. It went downhill from there....

    Just for the record, Oliver only averaged 14 minutes of ice time per game in a defense first minded offense. He averaged less than 1.5 shots per game. Tough to score under those circumstances. Coaching may have had something to do with not maximizing his full potential (i.e. MacPherson).

    They were inconsistent 5x5. Brown had to do a lot of line shuffling due to a couple of key injuries and they never developed any consistency after winning the beanpot. Hockey East was simply not good this year. My guess is Conmy's stock may have been better served staying with UNH :)
