  • The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways. Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar. We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

  • It is apparent you go back much further with BU hockey then I do. My comments are based upon direct insights of the program that are within the last 10 years.
Actually, you go back a little further than I do. I started at the very end of Jack Kelley's reign, with back-to-back NCAA titles (those teams had powerplays!!!). We know that Jack Parker has thought about the time to retire, but I personally don't think it will be anytime soon. Jerry York signed a 5-year contract extension last year, and Parker's last contract runs to 2014-15, to my knowledge. I'd be surprised if he doesn't see that out, and wouldn't be surprised if he went even longer if his health holds out.
Apparently, you go further back with BU hockey than I. My first season was 1968-9. I like your USCHO user name. I've always wished I could've seen more of the Kelley teams. They played very entertaining hockey, albeit during a period that was vastly than today's.
