I found an article that said after he de-committed from NU, he went on a "whirlwind" of visits to 5 New England schools. Presumably that included BC and BU, and probably Harvard. UML wasn't really on their run yet and PC wasn't good. One would have to imagine that UNH was on the list. They...- freak

Admissions seems to have been an issue at least as early as 2005. I'd always thought it was more after the Charlebois situation. Going into her 8th year at UNH, Witt has 1 year with a record over .500. In 15 total seasons she has just 3 that were over .500. Meanwhile, even with 4 seasons at under .500 at the end, Coach Mac still has a career winning % of .672. But hey, wasn't she supposed to be hauling in the national...- freak

Do Shootouts Work?
So, one of the arguments for the shootouts is that it will tend to create separation in the standings, due to the awarding of the SOW pt. This would, in theory, result in having to resort to fewer tiebreakers to decide playoff berths and/or seedings. Given that, I think it is only appropriate...- freak
