    With all the new long-term coaches retiring in the ECAC and new coaches showing up, it will be interesting to see the effect the new coaches will have on the team's success. I bet we will see some surprises.

    Found a couple. Looks like the Dutchmen are forecast to finish between 4th and 6th in the ECAC this year. Non-conference looks a lot tougher than last year. That is encouraging.

    Well, that concludes another NCAA Hockey Season. Only the Championship between Wisconsin and Denver. Any thoughts on the prospects for the Dutchmen next year? The eastern teams did not fare well this year. Any thoughts on why?

    Looks like all the Eastern Teams (HE, ECAC, AHL) are out in the first round except for Qpac. Not a good year for Eastern Teams. Cornell got squashed. Pulling for Qpac to keep us in the hunt. Our women finished dead last in the ECAC.

    If either Clarkson or Princeton wins the ECAC Tournament, the ECAC could have four teams in the playoffs. I hope the Dutchmen face off against some of the better teams in College Hockey next year, rather than just cramming as many weaklings in their schedule as they can to get some wins...

    Princeton scored the first 4 goals of the game, and the Dutchmen did not score until 5 minutes remained in the third period. Not very impressive. Not a sign of a team that is very "hungry." In game two, will they show some pride or just fold?

    Princeton has only lost 2 at home. They are 7-8-2 since January. We are 11-6-1, but in general have played weaker opponents. I think the momentum is with us, but I don't see Princeton giving up two losses at home. Princeton in three.

    Union College hockey 2025-26 thread

    This weekend will be a good test for the Dutchmen. Brown and Yale have terrible overall records, but both play better at home. Yale is 6-6-1 at home, and Brown is 5-5-2. It will be the end of the regular season at home ice. Both teams should be motivated.
