Could you offer some insights for those of us without a subscription to the article? Without going to in depth since its behind a pay wall ofcourse.

I agree with you. I always assumed Talan Blanck was being brought in to be the Horbach type player. I also have to say I dont believe I have ever seen him play. In the end I guess time will tell and im going to trust the staff. Perhaps the new assistant coach has an inside line on a player...

Of the players currently on the roster, is there a guy who is going to take Tassy spot on the PP. The big body that stands infront of the goaltender? I feel like he really help the PP be what it was this past year.

So, with these two players being pushed out a year where does that put the Badgers roster wise. Does this give them the opportunity to bring in two players if they choose, or where they roster size limitations heavy?

Looks like a nice hire. Hopefully, he can pick up right where things left off

It appears as though Castro will be leaving the program. That explains the addition of another goaltender

Wisconsin Recruiting V - Does it even matter?

Do you think they are planning on having 4 goaltenders? Isnt there roster limitations that would really put some pressure on the forwards and D if someone got hurt? Just bodies availability wise?

Can never have enough scorers on a team. That being said, if he had surgery on his hip, what does his return to skating timeline look like. Then, who is departing the team as a result of the addition.

While id love an entire team made up of Wisconsin kids to win the natty its not going to happen. So, with that being said, the larger footprint you can cover with your coachingbstaff the better we are going to be. So much is about relationships, who do you know.

I hope that we go with a young up and comer who hits the trail and is a great recruiter. A couple names that come up for me are Josh St. Clair (Muskegon Lumberjacks) and Evan Dixon (Dubuque Fighting Saints). Im sure there will be a number of great young candidates. Admittedly, I also have a...

My guess is we see Pulver to the portal. Castor gives me a vibe like he is ok with his roll. Could be completely wrong though. Likely in fact. Lol

I just dont see Pavelski wanting to devote the time as a full assistant coach. I think he is happy to come in once in a while, help out with the PP and stuff like that. Otherwise, Id bet he is content coaching his son's team for now. I wouldn't mind a young coach like Colten St. Clair or...
