The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I don't see why Bednarik and Svoboda would look to the portal. They are sophomores that have big roles on this team. I doubt Harvey would, he plays top 6 minutes. I suppose Fondrk could as a sort of "reset" but that would surprise me.
Many topics:
- McKenna's stock will not drop at all if the story about the other guy calling his mom a who*e are true. He has been watched so closely for the past 4 years that nobody is going to think that all of a sudden he has issues because he punched a guy who deserved it. And breaking a...
The effort was there for the most part. And they looked very good for the first 10 minutes. But as someone else said, once they got down by a goal and then two, they reverted back to trying to do too much individually. 21 and 78 are the most susceptible to a simple poke check to lose the puck. I...
Agreed on Eiserman. I feel like there was a play last year in the NCAAs where Cole Hutson made a phenomenal play and dished to Eiserman for an easy tap in and he acted a little too much like it was all his doing. I know it is partly just the culture today, but I don't like it.
The slow development of the higher round guys like Eiserman and Sascha (and Sacha!) could definitely create a logjam on the roster. I wonder if that will lead to transfers or deferred arrivals.
I too am not going to start questioning the ability of the coaching staff. Last season was similar to the first Bruins season after Bergeron and Krejci retired. We thought the team would see a big drop given the talent that left (e.g. Lane, Macklin), but they went on to have a very good year...
Well based on rankings the team should lose the next three games. If they can win two of them that would be an excellent result in my opinion. I wouldn't say I am nervous, but that may be because I have pretty much accepted that they are not going to get an at-large bid and will have to get hot...

This team is so frustrating.
- I honestly think this team would be better without Hutson. He is extremely overrated at this point. Hobey candidate? Are people watching the games? He has been a turnover machine most of his BU career and whether it's injury related or not, his recent play is even...
I expect the play of the forwards to improve in the second half, provided they stay healthy. Merrill was playing great hockey when he got hurt. Boisvert has admitted he wasn't himself even in the Northeastern game. Fondrk also apparently has healed up. Adding a player of Lawrence's caliber lets...
I actually was thinking of those same two names the other day without reading the post on here. Cole is certainly more talented at scoring goals than those two guys were. I think Cole has been rightly focused on rounding out his game, but I don't think his skill level for a cycling game is on...
Fun atmosphere as expected last night. A few bad decisions and misfires were the downside of an otherwise well-played game by BU. I'd rather have those types of mistakes because this team will learn as they get experience, versus just looking lost and having no flow, like other games this...
Just got my tickets with the priority presale that was released 30 minutes ago. Bought three seats. Not much left, but there were some. $290 per seat for the full event (at least I hope it's for all three games, I had a bit of a panic after buying them).
