The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Good effort today, I was wrong about the character of this team. Hopefully next season brings some badly needed offensive talent and a suitable backup goalie so Charette can get some rest once in awhile.
Yeesh...they should have lost in OT last Friday or last night, now have to drag the season out until Sunday which will most likely be another pasting. I don't think I am going to waste a beautiful day sitting inside to watch this. Also, watching these games from Lynah, in addition to the...
I have mixed opinions about Harvard's recruiting. Senior night last night. I felt this was one of the most disappointing senior classes in recent years. Sure there were NHL draft picks, but take for instance Joe Miller. Looked good as a freshman, has not progressed since then. Heyduk, as was...
jericho, if you have ESPN+ you can take a look at it and tell me if I am wrong, but Gallant did not make contact with the goalie. The goalie was outside the crease attempting to cover up the puck and it looked like Gallant poked the puck from under his glove, which had not closed on it. If that...
I wonder if Donato has burned his bridges with the officials in the ECAC after ranting at them for years.
Last week a winning goal where a replay showed the puck did not cross the goal line.
Gallant's goal tonight is waved off after the replay showed the goalie did not cover up the puck...
Went to a tremendous Harvard/Yale basketball game last night, ended when a referee whistled a foul on a Harvard player lying on the floor with .5 seconds left, giving Yale two free throws and a one point win. On the other hand, Barbour threw up a no-hoper that banked in with 3 seconds left last...
Rye, Harvard has not had radio coverage in years, more than 10. They used to broadcast games on WHRB, but no longer. There is little student attendance at hockey games, no band either.
I go every year, get bad seats as the Harvard ticket office doesn't really help out season-ticket holders as they used to, and I know that they are inferior to the other Beanpot teams, so not that enthused about going, but my friend is a BC fan. Well, at least the nightcap was exciting, a...
Getting their butts kicked by Cornell, as usual. There are many mediocre teams in the ECAC, Harvard takes advantage of them, but cannot play with Cornell, BU, Quinnipiac, plus they are boring to watch. Little offensive talent.
Harvard played hard for the first ten minutes of the Quinnipiac game, but were dominated for the rest of the game.
They were outplayed in the first period last night, and badly in the second, but came out fighting in the third period. I don't know what to make of the winning goal. A Harvard...
