I go back to the end of the Jack Kelly Era, and have obviously followed BU for all of the Parker years. Knowing how Parker was with his players during the 1970s, 80s and 90s makes it hard for me to believe that he doesn't care for them beyond the ice. Just so out-of-character, in my mind. But as he has gotten older, his relationship to players was bound to change, and he has always been a disciplinarian.
