The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Women's Hoops is a national embarrassment and the worst P4 team in the country.
Women's Hockey has dipped significantly from its peak and struggled in the tournament but is still a top-three program in the conference.
Hoops equivalent in hockey is probably Merrimack if they were also...
They didn't offer her a new contract, they did not fire her.
The bottom has also fallen off that program (1 conference win, multiple 50 point blowouts). The women's hockey program is still in a significantly better place than the hoops program, her being gone doesn't have any impact on Crowley.
Going to be a long offseason, BC need to retain the young core (Thomas, Murphy, Maffeo, Tremblay, etc)
A quick best case lines projection if BC doesn't lose anyone to the portal. Don't read too much into freshman positioning and easily could shuffle around lines/pairings but tried to throw...
Thomas has been basically the entirety of the offense at times (multiple games where the plan is sit back in the defensive end and hope you eventually get either Thomas alone on a break or Taber and Thomas on a two on one).
The goals are a bit misleading, tough out of conference and got shelled...
They'll be in the play-in (unless UNH score 4 unanswered in the net 25 minutes or so)...not that I would ever condone rooting for BU but not the worst thing if they win the play-in. Feel like they've got the best shot of that group to take down UConn or Northeastern in round one.
If BC gets by...
Just for USA, I've got Wisconsin at 9. They do have the points lead (30)
Knight (3), Edward (2), Harvey (2), Curl (1), Simms (1)....was just going off of an article for Wisconsin's team site, chance I missed a transfer that wasn't included but don't think I did
The consensus has been it does for scholarships but not NIL. It won't happen overnight but should within a few years.
Feel very confident about football being fully funded.
Do think that it could take scholarships, but BC's fundraising/$50 million match (as much as you believe in it) will...
The good news for women's hockey at P4 schools is basically they need to spend an additional 22 scholarships to account for increases in football and men's hoops (WBB was already at full 15). Baseball could add another 22 and change (have been told in past BC may spend to the max but don't have...
I was going to guess we were at/close to the max...if it is the no-financial aid to international's doesn't come into play in the roster cap era. If you're fully funded it means no walk-ons/partial scholarships anymore since the maximum is 26 for both roster size and scholarships.
