BC Women's Hockey '26-'27: The Laws of Probability Owe Us One

Don't think we ever had a chance at Rosalie but was hoping she'd really want to play with her sister again...can't really fault her for choosing Wisconsin. Another name to watch from that league is Bogi Bahizki-Toth, from Hungary, played for NAHA and headed to Brown. Had a hat trick to...

BC Women's Hockey '26-'27: The Laws of Probability Owe Us One

Called two of Lavoie's JWHL playoff games, thought she was one of the best defesnewoman I saw in the league, she's great puck mover.Would guess she'll be a middle pair d and on maybe on the second power play if Murphy/Maffeo are both kept on the top unit. Now if only we could've got her...

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Some positive news for next year... Lavoie (incoming freshman) was just named Defensemen of the year in the JWHL (one of the top U19 prep league)....looks like a promising player coming in, over a point per game this year in the league (7 G, 13 A in 18). Would slot in nicely and help with some...

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Women's Hoops is a national embarrassment and the worst P4 team in the country. Women's Hockey has dipped significantly from its peak and struggled in the tournament but is still a top-three program in the conference. Hoops equivalent in hockey is probably Merrimack if they were also...

They didn't offer her a new contract, they did not fire her. The bottom has also fallen off that program (1 conference win, multiple 50 point blowouts). The women's hockey program is still in a significantly better place than the hoops program, her being gone doesn't have any impact on Crowley.

You're correct, I didn't check for redshirts. I'd assume she's gone since she was honored on senior day.

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Going to be a long offseason, BC need to retain the young core (Thomas, Murphy, Maffeo, Tremblay, etc) A quick best case lines projection if BC doesn't lose anyone to the portal. Don't read too much into freshman positioning and easily could shuffle around lines/pairings but tried to throw...

Campbell moves into second place in career saves for Boston College with her final save of the second period (3,181).

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Thomas has been basically the entirety of the offense at times (multiple games where the plan is sit back in the defensive end and hope you eventually get either Thomas alone on a break or Taber and Thomas on a two on one). The goals are a bit misleading, tough out of conference and got shelled...

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

They'll be in the play-in (unless UNH score 4 unanswered in the net 25 minutes or so)...not that I would ever condone rooting for BU but not the worst thing if they win the play-in. Feel like they've got the best shot of that group to take down UConn or Northeastern in round one. If BC gets by...

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

Just for USA, I've got Wisconsin at 9. They do have the points lead (30) Knight (3), Edward (2), Harvey (2), Curl (1), Simms (1)....was just going off of an article for Wisconsin's team site, chance I missed a transfer that wasn't included but don't think I did

Goals this Olympics. The four American Eagles end with 11 goals and 12 assists (23 points) Most by any schools alums for Team USA.

Correction 12* was looking at Watts assists not goals.

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

16 goals in the Olympics across the five Eagles playing in the gold medal game. Would have to check but I believe that's the most of any school.

Boston College Women's Hockey '25-'26: It's The Hope That Kills You

The consensus has been it does for scholarships but not NIL. It won't happen overnight but should within a few years. Feel very confident about football being fully funded. Do think that it could take scholarships, but BC's fundraising/$50 million match (as much as you believe in it) will...
