    Another Dem House geriatric died in office today. Joe Casello out of Florida, so the special election won't happen until the last possible moment.

    Running as GOP-Lite gets you nothing because why would I get Diet something instead of the genuine item. Sure, Clinton won re-election with "triangulation" in 1996, but Dole was 85 or so and the GOP kept Congress.

    Not anymore. In 2020, the world could hope we just had a lapse in judgment that got corrected. Bringing the stable genius back in and with more power means we're wholly unreliable. Even if we claw back in 2028, we'll still be kept at arms length because it's now part of us.

    Michigan did that all the time when the GOP held the legislature until the state Supreme Court flipped and kicked them in the face. It'd get the signatures, they'd take it up in a lame duck session and neuter it.

    No, children lost their lives because the southeast voted Trump and his DOGE gutted NOAA, FEMA, and NWS, the areas that needs it last week. The leopard eating evidently included veal. They're really going to love the future hurricane seasons...
