RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Not just in game. The whole experience needs to be looked at. We pay $80 for parking in A lot. For several games there was no one checking passes . Someone I know couldn’t find an open space. Then at the Harvard game, they allowed lots of fans to stand behind the west end goal. They did finally...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

It would be nice if they developed a way to give the fans higher up in the stands a chance at a t shirt.

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Anyone know when the last time there was a sell out at HFH?

Yes this team has lots of potential. But they played far better on Saturday than on Friday. So consistent good play is required to go anywhere.

Agree with the coaching being great. You have to think the players see that and see the players looking at it as the coaches having their backs .

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

As to the game last night: it wasn’t looking good after the first, but RPI made the adjustments needed and then we had a hockey game. And what a game it was. The best I have seen in a long time . I look forward to what is coming down the road.

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Question about the game last night: I understand a coaches challenge to a made call on the ice. But that challenge for a five minute penalty on Harvard that was successful. There wasn’t a penalty called on Harvard, much less a 5 minute penalty. Didn’t know that was allowed. So if a coach sees an...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Be quite successful I think if Albany could have built such a complex along the Hudson River. But that is not happening anytime soon

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

Yes it is. It has no tax base to speak of. When I was a kid there were lots of shops and restaurants downtown. They all left for the suburbs and malls. Albany hasn’t been the same since. And the answer to the problem? A soccer stadium? Really? It might draw people for , what, maybe a dozen home...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

The silver lining here was not on the ice. I have no idea what the attendance has been year to year for the Mayor’s Cup. But Saturday’s games attendance was far better than I expected. Union is trying to get back to the top of the league and RPI is trying to make a climb out of the basement...

    RPI 2025-2026

Agree with you. Where was Kendall Davidson? But one thing that continues to stand out for me is the support the players have for each other. The Brown TV announcers were very impressed by it and they noted the coach creates that atmosphere.

    RPI 2025-2026

Watched most of the Harvard game. I have said all along the women are fun to watch. As pointed out they want it each and every game. They support each other and stand up on the bench for the entire game. One of the toughest challenges for a coach is to keep a team, with far less talent than...

RPI 2025–26: Off the Critical List and In Recovery

RpI men had some weekend. 1 goal for and 9 goals against in the two losses. I understand these were two very good opponents, but the only descriptor I can come up with for RPI is sad, very, very sad. But it is not just on the ice that things are going poorly. We pay $80 a season for parking...

    RPI 2025-2026

Well since retiring in 2016, I have lost 52 pounds. So # 1 is out. I want to live a few more years so #3 is out. And # 2 would never be accomplished no matter how many hit washes and drying I tried. So the consolation prize was I won the 50:50 on Saturday. ($44)

    RPI 2025-2026

Attended the game vs Colgate last night. Colgate was a much faster team. And they pass the puck extremely well. The only way for a team like RPI to stay in the game with them is to be able to be far more physical than RPI is capable of and the women’s game tolerates. There was no 50:50 raffle...
