I think the confusing Makar goal is because Renwick might have hit a pipe and it was sitting just in front of the goal line and Makar followed up and poked it in. I wish I could see a different angle(overhead?). Djuresevic looked good...

It turns out he did make it up from Florida. He was thanked by Steve Kariya in his acceptance speech. Evidently Grant had a hip replacement just 3 weeks ago and still made it up. Wow. Grant is incredible. Fast forward to 101 mark if you want to hear Steve Kariya’s acceptance speech. https://www.you...

I got tickets to the Friday night game, looking forward to it. I like watching games at Matthew’s.
On the recruits, it seems like some are not going to make to Maine. I do know that summer of 2023 they added another assistant coach to handle the recruiting(Soltys). So to me, it appears...

I’ve heard his health is an issue after battling cancer. If he doesn’t make the trip I think it is due to that and not because he doesn’t want to. I feel he is a genuinely one of the most caring coaches I’ve ever spoke with. He just seemed so happy and interested in developing...

The parking by the ball park is a little further to walk(past field house) but easier to get out of after the game if you use the back way off campus....

Brad played off wing, carrying the puck in usually on the left side as a righty. Not as easy for sure. At the same time he tied for the team lead in assists at 27. When people say the two brothers know where each other are and have a knack for finding each other then vision and passing are part of that...

I don’t understand why the badmouthing of Brad. He was a great player for Maine and was a true freshman. It comes off as ungrateful. Maine is fortunate he played there. Sour grapes over him leaving doesn’t mean you should diminish what he accomplished and how well he played. Go ask Barr,...

Friday night the 4th there is a UMaine hall of fame induction ceremony where the 99 national championship team will be inducted.
In case anyone(Chuck?) can’t remember that national championship game Maine beat UNH by a score of 3-2 in OT.
Alfie was the MVP....

I just checked and it appears as though they are sold out at Matthew’s Arena vs. Northeastern on the 26th. I managed to get tickets with ease for Friday. Not sure why ample tickets for Friday but nothing on Saturday???...

Seems like the recruits should be better going forward according to neutral zone ratings....

I’m not sure what happened at half time but at least they turned that game around. Have to give credit for that at least....

And they should have started from Merrimack’s 40 yard line, but a Maine blocker was called for a hold on the return. Which he held after the return man already was by him anyways....

Unreal, Maine took so many penalties it backed them up to the end zone and was 1st and 34 yds to go. Next play is a sack in the end zone for the safety. I’m not sure they could have played any worse on that series. This isn’t a cliche. I’m legitimately trying to think of anything more...

They could kick extra point to be down by field goal, instead they go for a two point play and did this odd formation that looked horrible. Failed. I haven’t been following yet this year, but I’m guessing coaching isn’t a strength....

I’m guessing Holt/Djuresevic must have been a pairing for a power play unit. You have Antonacci listed twice, and he is not really an offensive power play type. He’s strong fundamentally on defense but undersized. For his size though he is a defensive bulldog. But Holt/Djuresevic might be...

Very true. It is interesting to note he has an older brother that played just under 500 NHL games with similar size. So he could be a project player that blossoms late. His skating appears to be a strength and he has good size....
