Uh no the original champy triangle has like 10-15 titles between the 3 schools. If 2/3 schools in the "new" triangle have one championship game appearance between them that's not a champy triangle. If anything the triangle became a straight line from green bay to Stevens point in the 2010... -

6 teams conferences get an aq now that's the rule teams voted for. I think it's stupid but even if Northland did close they would have a 2 year grace period to poach an NCHA team before they lose their autobid.Leave a comment:

Stats can be deceiving like say for example when someone last year tried to claim Utica had the #1 because they cherry picked the one week where Uticas sos was #1 and everyone with a brain told that guy he was an idiot and then two weeks later their sos dropped to like 25th. No but I will say the UCHC is not the 2nd best conference at all at least for this year. Id put them 5th behind the NCHA the CNE the NESCAC and the NEHC. I will admit the SUNYAC is very mid this year I still can't believe oz and Cortland are that high in the NPILeave a comment:

UCHC average for top 2 teams 2.5 bottom 4 teams 49. The UCHC comissioner mightve been playing accidental 4d chess with playing each conference opponent 4 times because all 6 teams have an astronomical sos compared to everyone adrian and UNE are the only 2 teams within even 10% of uchc schools. Nice good old fashion beat down. We've had a game reschedule due to ice problems, broke a glass plane vs naz, popped the ref door open in this game. In recent years at least it seems most tourney teams have at most 6 losses (or 7 if u have a crazy sos which sadly we do not) and those were 12-13 team tournaments. with 14 teams running the table except for losing the sunyac title game still gives us great odds. if only there was league where a lot of top ny prospects play in that is just as good as the canadian junior a leagues. where suny schools can take advantage of that in state suny tuition and has helped former bottom feeders like cortland become sunyac champion. we could call it the NCDCLeave a comment:
