Keys:
1. Experience and age. Those final four teams are older and that’s huge. St. Cloud had 8 players born in 1996 which is Jack Eichels birth year. Umass had an experience team as well. They don’t get too many blue chips but very good players that stick around for 4 years.

Can’t applaud enough what carvel and his staff has done at Umass. Some of the quotes after the game were telling “culture....”, “character over skill”....rolling 4 lines..depth..carvel was the last guy to handle the trophy. You need the players to buy into the culture and...Last edited by Lemonade; 04-11-2021, 12:13 PM.

Good luck to Umass tonight. Nothing but respect for how this team plays and is coached. They deserve it.

I hope UMass wins. Love how they play. Great depth. Great coaching. They work hard and play tough nose hockey. No superstar primadonnas and play as a team....

Something just doesn't add up as both players are very talented, team came on at the end of the season and should have a highly competitive team next season. Bazin is know as a top tier coach. Whats not to like? They started and played big minutes. I think the transfer portal isn't a good thing. No...

BU needs to find some players that can put the puck in the net. Matt Brown from UML would be the #1 guy on my list. Just a sophomore and would make a great addition up front....

How they working 4 goalies into scholarship money? Maybe Rowe is starter, Moe is 2nd and Garrity is 3rd and push Grannan back a year?...

I comment on a lot of college hockey teams as I enjoy the sport. You arent special.
Regardless, nobody in Hockey East is bringing in a better forward duo than Kruse and Cruikshank....according to other peoples opinion on stuff that I read somewhere.....I forgot you are the one who never...Last edited by Lemonade; 04-07-2021, 09:28 AM.

Love the insight on two players you have never seen play. Ever.
As far as Matt Brown - love his game. Then again I have seen him play about a dozen games....

Not sure they have much room. They only lost Farrance/Deboer/witkowski/wise to my knowledge. They probably Can take 4 incoming recruits and be all set roster size wise....

Totally stinks for Umass to be without their starting goalie and leading scorer. NCAA should have done a better job at this.

Call it whatever you want but it’s the waiver wire. These players could all stay at their school no matter so they are either choosing to transfer for a reason. If you are going to pretend they are the same caliber of player that left you are kidding yourself....

So you think BC will still be a top team despite losing Knight, Boldy, Newhook, Hardman...and replacing them with waiver wire transfer guys. I will have what you are having. BC was under .500 (1-2) without Knight this year alone...if they get a few transfers they better be real studs....

BC will be mid pack in Hockey East next season and not close to a National Title contending team. Ship sailed last year.

Years ago if you were a 26 year old still in college you were a loser. Now that 26 year is called a sophomore at st. Cloud
