Roller coaster of emotions in that game, feels like another missed chance. Ostman seemed off and let in a couple weak ones. Thought Nadeau had that one at the end....

That call on Breen cannot happen. That’s a terrible call. The Houle one was a 50/50 play, soft call but I’m not surprised it was called....

When the first PP unit is able to set up, they move the puck pretty well. They do look for the perfect shot a bit too much, I’d like to see Bradly nadeau shoot the puck a bit more, even when the perfect shot isn’t there.
The more I digest last nights game, the better I feel....

Can’t get upside down on penalties against a team like that and expect to win. Love the fight of our guys but feels like a missed chance. 5v5 Maine was at BU’s level if not better....

I think among the diehards and people who care enough to post on this forum, we hate the shootouts. I hate them because I’m too invested week in and week out to see a gimmick decide the outcome. Sometimes there should be ties, like on Saturday night. Among the casual fans tho, they love the s...

The shootout leaves a sour taste but what a weekend. Maine did more than hang with one of the best teams in the country and a team loaded with draft picks.
Victor had his best weekend of the year which is a great sign. Hopefully this gives him his mojo back.
10 out of a possible...

I did not expect the Nadeau’s to be this effective 5 on 5. Josh has incredible talent with the puck, he has the puck on a string. He always seems to be able to make a move to find space. Breen with those guys is such a unique combination, even with all the talent on the ice last night, that was...

So the boys are 6-1 with their only loss to the defending national champs and they’re on top of hockey east. Can somebody pinch me?

Biggest reason I think Maine takes at least 3 points this weekend is the Alfond. This is a really tough roadtrip for a young team. I don’t think BC will be phased by it given that they beat quinnipiac on banner night but to me it’s hard to imagine Maine not taking one of these games....

In terms of excitement, this is the biggest series I can remember since North Dakota came to town in the 10-11 season....

I’m thinking maybe they’ll want a chance to defend their national championship...

This is the last year it’s applicable. I think Houle will be back, Ostman has given every indication of this being his final year. Breen is the wild card, such a great player but hard to imagine him making it to the nhl at his size. If they get close and have some heartbreaking losses (hope that...

What a weekend, that sweep is going to go a long way because I expect Merrimack to figure it out. 6 out of 6, can’t wait for next weekend. The Alfond is going to be electric.

This Merrimack series has the potential to be a lot of fun. Both teams are hard nosed and fast, interested to see if Maine can match the Warriors physicality.
I think BC has the potential to be a good weekend for Maine. BC hasn’t taken a true road trip yet and that’s a young...

I think this weekend should be viewed as a net positive. Yesterday’s game left a lot to be desired but I credit that more to Q and less to Maine. Q’s record might not look as pretty as it normally does but it’s worth noting that they are yet to lose a game in regulation. That’s...
