Big Ten Media day for football is a long-standing event. Two or three years ago, 'they' added a Media Day with student athletes and coaches for volleyball (it generates 'content' for BTN and for social media). So the BTN-associated WCHA adding one makes sense. I assume there's such a day for men's hockey...Leave a comment:

I am aware of all of that (in fact, one cannot 'declare' for a redshirt until the season is over). It does not change the fact that the "dangerous" part of participation was being on the ice with the other teams and players, outside of the team "bubble.".
