I get it that you don't have a high opinion of Mr. Metcalf and that's certainly your prerogative. But if we really expect the league office to be able to produce a schedule that is rational, certain, and predictable in an irrational, uncertain, and unpredictable year, then maybe we should give them...

Of course they're winging it. It's even worse in some of the college basketball leagues (NBA too). Longstanding scheduling protocols are out the window, at least for this year, so I'm not going to criticize the league office or anyone else under the circumstances. Just happy to get any kind of season...

So how, exactly, does a team with one loss and the best GA and GAA in the nation finish behind a 2-loss team in one poll and third behind said two-loss team and a FIVE loss team in the other?? Inquiring minds want to know....

Same story here in MD. I'm Priority 1B but the state and county both claim not enough vaccine to go around. Same result for other 1B folks I know. Not sure what MA is doing but it seems to be way ahead of my state....

Personally, I'm just happy that we're having a season--unbalanced, irrational, unfair, and discombobulated as it may be. And I really don't have any strong feelings about the tournament selection formula or even which team ultimately wins. Completing a season, having any kind of playoff, and crowning...
